The Imagined Canvas is a refreshing space that provides a number of creative experiences within studio and throughout our community. The mission and vision of the studio expands to include the "Rolling Out the Canvas' component of the studio services. The Artists and creators from within the Studio offer commissioned painting and crafting along with the oppurtunity to shop within the 'Off the Canvas' store.
Open Studio
Drop in times to come create or paint through the week Monday through Friday
1 - 5 pm. During these times you can come to studio and purchase a craft kit or a painting from the paint stand, gather your tools and be guided as little or as much as youd like through creating your piece. Blank canvas and alternative canvas are always on hand as well.

Evening open studio night dedicated to painting in either water colour or acrylic is Wednesday Nights 6 -9. Where you can browse and select from the paint stand or gain inspiration from the studio templates or come with your ideas!

The studio supports the learning and practice for the beginner curious, the skilled practicing and the enhancing seasoned artist. Using some tried and true class outlines and planning prinicipals that ensure the best outcomes that aim to align with your goals! Let us come to you - reach out to Cheryl to discuss and plan!
Classes, Craft Clubs & Private Lessons
The 2026/27 planned year for introduction painting workshops in now available for booking in Watercolour, Fluid Art, and Texture painting. Otherwise, the studio plans in real time! Where theres interest we follow with creating classes. The studio maintains a growing list of those seeking learning in the following mediums: watercolour for beginners, acrylic, and oil painting, sketching, and a variety of crafting multimedia options.
Once theres a clear interest classes are made so don't hesitate to reach out. Perhaps you have a group of friends who all want to learn a new skill - this could essentially create your own class!
Craft clubs modelled after Book clubs also have spaces available in the studio schedule! Whether this is something that you and your group would like to book weekly, biweekly or monthly, have faciliation and guidance at or not, it can all be creativitly arranged by reaching out to Cheryl.
Cheryl maintains a schedule for one on one and small group lessons in watercolour and oil painting, sketching, and self-care art journalling available within studio as well.
Monthly Paint Event & Create Workshops
The list of fun monthly paint events: Pet Portraits, Partner Paint Night, Nostalgic Landscapes (Bob Ross Inspired), Paint your House & the Introductory series to painting in watercolour, texture or fluid art paint are all avail to book online!
The studio also plans workshops, self care crafternoons, and 'pop up seasonal family days for those who love to craft! Check out all the available options in the booking calendar and always stay tuned to the studios socials for pop ups!

Opening in time for holiday celebrations this year at the Imagined Canvas is the new storefront called 'Off the Canvas" An artful reflection of our community.
